If you want speed, you’ll have to wait for the N sports trim level to arrive in early 2024. The N adds a turbocharger to the 2.0-liter engine and can go from zero to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds.
The standard gasoline engine comes with an Intelligent Variable Transmission, while the hybrid engine is paired with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic for transmission of power to the front wheels. Both engines are front-wheel drive.

Hyundai gave the ELANTRA a nose job for 2024 that lowers the slope of the hood and gives it a sportier appearance.
